CategoriesNCIAAI Member Educational Scholarship ( 2 Files )In 2004 the NCIAAI established a Member Educational Scholarship for active members of the NCIAAI who wish to advance their fire/arson investigation careers. The scholarship is in the amount of $750.00 Applications must be submitted to the North Carolina Chapter IAAI (NCIAAI) by March 31 of the calendar year for which the scholarship is being applied. The scholarship selection committee will make a final selection and award the scholarship by May 10th of that calendar year. Training Policy & Procedure ( 6 Files )One of the primary objectives of the North Carolina Chapter of the International Association of Arson Investigators (NCIAAI) is “To foster greater professional competence in the investigative technique and recognition of the crime of arson”. The primary method in achieving this objective is providing the most up to date training in the fields of fire science, fire behavior, and fire investigations. The Training and Education Committee of the NCIAAI, has the responsibility for providing the most up to date training in the fields of fire science, fire behavior, and fire investigations to the members and any agency in the State of North Carolina that has an interest and/or mission statement that is related to the field of fire/arson investigation.
